 A young man reportedly used N75,000 to stake some odds at a sports betting centre but the result was heartbreaking. The guy lost the entire money he went with and was left feeling dejected at the centre, so much so that he refused to go home. In a video posted on social media the lad could be seen holding the heap of tickets which cut and resulted in him losing a total of N75k. He went outside and stayed at the entrance to the sports betting centre, where he tried to hold back tears and wondered on what to do next.

Following the investigation of the alleged Kubwa PW ritual killing, it has been discovered that the said man of God Bishop Amadi A. Amadi is responsible for the killing. It was alleged that the pastor’s son who was arrested with the man of God opened up in the station. Neighbors of the bishop said the girl that was killed is a Kaduna girl and she was a friend of the bishop’s son.  It was said that the man of God is a former Assemblies of God church but he left the church after he said the Assemblies of God policies do not fit him. Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, alongside his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, has been denied bail and remanded in custody by a United Kingdom court over allegation bordering on organ trafficking. The PUNCH had earlier reported that the UK Metropolitan Police formally charged Ekweremadu and his wife with conspiracy to facilitate the travel of another person for organ harvesting in the UK. Ekweremadu and his wife were arrested and charged over their plan to bring a child into the UK to allegedly harvest the said child’s organs. The charges involve arranging or facilitating travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting, according to a Met statement on Thursday.
